In the next few hours, this month will end and every blogger is excited to see if there’s a change on their blogs Page Rank or PR.
The last PR update was early January this year. I believe Page Rank really matters when it comes to organic traffic, and still plays a great role in SEO opposing to the belief of others that it’s useless anymore.

For just three months from the birth of this blog, this was rated as a PR2 blog. Then on the next update, this blog became PR3. The rating is consistent though, until the last PR update.

Google normally update blogs Page Rank every three months. Today or tomorrow is expected to be the next schedule, and I’m a bit excited about it. Hopefully this blog become PR 4 (LOL)…

How about you, what can you say about your blogs Page Rank?

For on-site SEO of Blogger blogs, it’s important that you consider the use of Meta tags.
Meta tags are just small pieces of codes added to HTML code of your blog which describes some aspect of the contents of the web page. These codes are being used by search engines to identify the most relevant website that contains the information to be displayed on the SERPs based from what a user is searching.

There are lots of Meta tags actually, but the most important according to some experts are just the keywords Meta tag and the description Meta tag. Here I’m going to teach you how to add these tags in your blogger blog, including the author tag.

1. Look for this line of codes:

2. Add the following codes just below the line of code you find in number 1.

3. Change the items highlighted in blue as indicated below:

DESCRIPTION HERE: Write about the description of your blog
KEYWORDS: Write about your targeted keywords (just limit the number of keywords to avoid stuffinf)
AUTHOR NAME: You can write your name here as author

Part of  your website HTML code will then looks like this:

4. Save your template.

Now your blog will become more search engine- friendly!

Terry Frieden writes on CNN.com:

Ten million Americans a year are victims of identity theft. It’s a growing problem in the United States, but fighting it doesn’t appear to be a priority, a new report says.

A report by the Justice Department Inspector General released Tuesday cites the wide-ranging costs and dangers of ID theft. Although the report has no new numbers, the financial losses are believed to be substantially higher than the $15.6 billion documented in 2005.

Inspector General Glenn Fine found the effort to combat the problem, however, has lagged since the President’s Task Force on ID Theft was established in 2007.

“We found that to some degree identity theft initiatives have faded as priorities,” said Fine. He said the Justice Department has not developed a coordinated plan to combat ID theft and that some recommendations of the President’s Task Force have not been addressed. No one has been appointed to oversee the efforts, the report says.
